Story

Embark on a heroic journey in Rise of the Village Hero, set in the enchanting Kingdom of Dobroja. As the hunter Guy, return to find your village under attack by orcs and goblins. Save your home, uncover the cause of the devastation, and restore peace by traversing challenging terrain, interacting with factions, and fulfilling objectives. Embrace your destiny and become the hero Dobroja needs!

Difficulty
Rise of the Village Hero presents some level of difficulty. Initially, you embody a hunter facing an army of orcs, a challenge for which his skills are not ideally suited. At the outset, he is not yet shaped into a hero. The game is designed with a learning curve in mind. Utilize health and stamina potions judiciously, and upgrade your weapons and armor whenever possible. Take your time, use the camera to zoom out and assess enemy positions, and avoid rushing into large groups of enemies. Saving frequently is also a good thing to do.

Rise of the Village Hero features permanent death. Upon starting the game, you will be prompted to name your save. Be sure to utilize the quick save function regularly to prevent loss of progress.

Combat:
In my RPG, players can initiate combat with an enemy with just a mouse click, thanks to a simple yet effective mechanic.

After defeating one enemy, click on another without smashing the button. Change targets mid-combat by clicking once on a different target.

Dialogues and Quests:
Dialogues are one of the main mechanics for telling the story in Rise of the Village Hero and immersing players in the world of the Kingdom of Dobroja. They serve as a means to convey the narrative.

Manage your quests and monitor your objectives:

Inventory Management and Stores:
Uncover new equipment through exploration, trade, and quest completion.

Equipment:
Equip diverse weapons for increased damage based on type and rarity. Discover armor sets and shields as quest rewards, random enemy drops, or through exploration.

Level up:
Defeat enemies to earn experience points. Leveling up grants points for your character sheet. Allocate points to enhance damage or boost health.

Zoom in/out on the action:
Zoom in for a closer view or navigate through arches and gateways. Click on the opposite side of the wall to find a path forward. This can also aid strategic planning and reveals enemy locations.
