ISLE OF LEIL

A first-person open world horror adventure heavily inspired by Inferno by Dante and games such as Amnesia and Outlast, made in Unreal Engine 5.

You play as Bentley Crow, a man in search for his missing parents. It is 2025, Samantha Crow has acquired the artefact needed to excavate an island off the coast of northern Scotland the locals call Leil. Samantha and her husband Edmund adventure up to the mysterious remote island in search for the long lost "Holy Grail". However what was to await Mr and Mrs Crow was the horrors found on and within the island.

Uncovering the mystery of Bentley's missing parents you must venture around the island with the aid of Dante, a local. You must use your whit to stealth around the monsters and access the Inner Sanctum found under the island.

Can you survive? Can you find your missing parents? Is this really the location of the "Holy Grail"?

FEATURES

Dynamic Monsters - Reactive to player actionsBeautiful Landscapes - Developed using UE5 technology with Lumens and NanitePhysics based interactions - That's right, you can throw stuff and break s**t!Linear open world interactions - Complete the puzzles to progress
Venture through an open world and find cassette tapes to uncover the whereabouts of your missing parents. Be wary, these environments can be treacherous! Navigate fog and water, unstable platforms and old ruins. Immerse yourself into the world and step in the shoes of Bentley, an archaeology student, find clues, navigate the traps and hide from the monsters!

The island hosts different spaces frozen in time, navigate an authentic medieval environment, caves and sewers... and who knows where the monsters may take you if your caught! Chaos destruction allows you to break objects to find hidden secrets and areas on the island.

YOU CAN PICK STUFF UP! Yes that's right you've heard it, you can pick up objects throughout the game, throw them around, play catch, launch pigs through the sky, whatever tickles your fancy really... just be careful, these objects can be loud. Use them as a distraction mechanism or alternatively stun the monsters to escape their clutches.

Meet and interact with unique NPC's throughout the game, they give meaningful dialogue, clues, hints and directive amongst your journey. I don't know about you but an open world game with little input is frustrating, so use the NPC's to help you. This is Dante, he will help you through your journey. Apparently he is a goat with a thick Spanish accent... Don't ask me why he just has, there is surely a reason this is the case?

Fluid effects and caustics are used throughout the island for an even more immersive experience, reactive fog, fire, sand and lava in my opinion is needed especially when you cant see the mon... I mean, who's are those footsteps?!?

The monsters...

Collecting keys, finding secrets and slowly uncovering the mystery of your parents disappearance WILL aggravate creatures around the world. Be careful who knows who or what you might run into... (Warning game does contain F**k off massive spiders) - Oh and they are also fast.
