Fate Of Aruna
Fate of Aruna is a work in progress in early development. Currently none of the planned RPG mechanics are implemented. Much of what is implemented is incomplete. The following section describes the idea and direction we would like to go with our future development. TRAFFICJAM LLC has the following to say about our game:
The idea of Fate of Aruna is to create a Fantasy Role Playing game that should allow the player to take part is historic events which affect the world of Aruna, within a narrative that spans generations. The player should be able to uncover the larger story through use of an archeology skill which gives a glimpse into the ancient past. Our plan for Fate of Aruna includes a Lore-heavy game design which includes a highly sophisticated Runic language inspired by the Ultima series. The puzzles and dialog interactions should reward players who take the time to read and understand the history of Aruna and its mysterious past.
What is the world of Aruna?
Aruna is a high fantasy and science fiction setting that takes place amid the ruins of a shattered planet. Many thousands of years ago the planet of Aruna was sundered in an apocolypse known as The Curse. As developers we drew heavily on inspiration from Steven Errikson Gardens of the Moon series, as well as ancient Summarian and Babylonian mythos. Episode 1 of our story takes place in media res and is till heavily in development.
