Direct the story of Maple Hanlon, a girl who had to grow up fast when the Z-virus decimated the human population. Survivors barricaded themselves in “sanctuaries” with high walls, keeping infected at bay. Maple’s father, a renowned scientist, has almost developed a cure when his life was abruptly ended under mysterious circumstances. When the sanctuary’s walls are breached and hordes of zombies take over the streets, Maple’s little sister is bitten—and Maple must leave the sanctuary to collect the cure’s missing ingredients and save her sister, learning the truth of her father’s death along the way.
