XVTM
It’s 2989. Global population: 10,000,000 and falling. The final golden age has ended, and nobody cares.
You are Sheridan Swan, an engineering prodigy-turned-waitress, currently on parole. Your days are spent at Room and Pillar, your restaurant-prison, selling counterfeit designer goods when you’re not taking lunch orders or arguing with the automata chefs. Arcology Security hasn’t caught up with you yet, but they aren’t the only ones watching.
Serve your sentence, or choose a different path.
XVTM is a visual novel with light gameplay elements and branching story paths. Talk to people, robots, and even your reflection. Play microgames to deliver food, hack into protected systems, and lift weights. Walk around hotel suites, outdoor plazas, and empty shopping malls.
Experience a world past its expiration date, and the characters within.
Your decisions help shape the story, whether it’s choosing what to have for dinner, how to spend your free time, or the best way to get information from someone who doesn’t want to cooperate. In conversations, microgames, or in the world itself, what you do can have consequences later.
Remember, you always have options.
An immersive, dying world of machine magic and hyper-luxury
A branching narrative, where your choices, good or bad, follow you
Microgames for different activities, both criminal and mundane
Some explorable environments and locations
Multiple story paths, each with unique activities and endings
A minimalist aesthetic based on vector games of the 1980s
Secrets and dark corners that shouldn’t be disturbed
