Where Birds Go to Sleep
Explore a richly detailed, fictional Near East-inspired world brought to life with stunning painterly art and an original voice-acted story in Where Birds Go to Sleep, an immersive narrative adventure game.
Shape the fate of Cormo, a smuggler-turned-explorer with every word as you delve into his mind and the prison island. Confront him about taboo topics, change his mind, or have him change yours.
There is no "Mission Failed" - every "No" leads to new opportunities and unique paths to discover. But be warned; every small decision adds up and can drastically impact the direction of the story.
Lie to others, and you’ll be more likely to hide the truth from yourself. Fail to justify your actions and you might find your character not heeding your commands.
Choose wisely and experience a truly personalized and dynamic tale where your choices matter.
Discover the profound impact a single word can have in shaping our relationships: the difference between "you tried your best" and "you're horrible" is empathy.
Every one of your choices, no matter how small, is remembered and analyzed, offering you personalised and eye-opening perspectives on your journey. The experimental Insight System will re-contextualise your experience and challenge you to see things in new and exciting ways in-, and hopefully outside of the game as well.
Reflect on your actions together with the protagonist: experience a range of emotions as you grieve, rejoice, laugh, and regret together - or independently of each other.
Experience intense dynamic conversations where your choices have the potential to branch off into a completely different and game-changing direction.
Brave the unknowns of the forest, where truth and lies are intertwined and the path forward is uncertain. The provisions are scarce... but the others need them less than you.
An island has appeared in the distant sea...
Embark on a treacherous journey to a shrouded island, where only the vilest criminals are sent to serve their sentences. Get close to a cast of richly developed characters, each with their own secrets to uncover. Become their friend, get to know their secrets, manipulate or abuse them to your, or Cormo’s will.
One of the first characters you will meet is Dunlin – a noble-born, young man who is steadfast in his moral and religious principles. But what dark deeds could have led a purebred like him to be sent to this godforsaken place?
