The story of the series
Wednesday Adams is expelled from her school after throwing live piranhas into the school pond in retaliation for the boys' swim team bullying her brother, Pugsley. As a result, her parents, Gomez and Morticia Adams, enrolled her in their high school, Nevermore Academy, a private school for savage outcasts, in Jericho, Vermont. Wednesday's cold, unemotional personality and defiant nature make it difficult for her to communicate with her classmates and cause her to fall out with the headmistress. However, she discovers that she has inherited her mother's psychic abilities that allow her to solve a local murder mystery.
