VR # AVOID
VR # AVOID is a short but intense game in which you have to physically avoid the ever-accelerating grid for as long as you can. By collecting objects while doing so, you can earn additional points and temporarily decrease the grid speed.
The grid speed increases over time to a certain speed cap while the grid gap decreases to a certain cap (different per difficulty level).
You have a maximum of 10 health.
If you hit a grid with your controller or VR headset, you will lose 3 health for each hit.
If you successfully avoid a grid, you will restore 1 health.
If you collect a small orb you get 10 points.
If you collect a color-changing orb, the grid speed decreases instantly and increases again over time (different per difficulty level), and the color theme will change.
The score system is based on avoided grids, points and current health.
Currently, there are 4 beatable difficulties (grid spawn based) and one endless soft capped mode which is not meant to be beaten (it gets too fast but give it a try, see how far you can get).
- Different difficulties with own local highscores for a challenge.
- Choose different songs to play with
- Ability to decrease the saturation for better vision clarity.
- Optional spectator or stream cameras: first-person better fov and third-person view from behind.
