Collect the pearls to unlock your goal and avoid dangerous bacteria, electric sparks, and other enemies. As you play, the levels adapt to your skill and mood.
Vertronex has an abstract, trippy, rainbow, colorful look, inspired by old arcade games, pop art, dreams, doodles, math, physics, sci-fi, aliens, slugs, bugs, space, modern art, and organic, microscopic worlds.
You play on infinite procedurally-generated levels of irregular shapes (Voronoi tiles) and shifting combinations of things to collect, avoid, or get through.
Each of the types of bad guys move in different ways, following the mathematical and geometrical properties of each level. Some move from tile to tile, on their own or chasing you. Some move along or block the edges between tiles. Some are bound to points, either at the center of tiles or in the where tiles come together.
Enjoy the soothing, ambient music or listen to your own music.
