This shift is a one off. You don't usually work weekends but the pay is good, and before you know it the front door is locked behind you and dim buzzing halls stretch before you. so you walk forwards... your shift finishes at 07:30, just sit in the lounge and watch the TV like normal right?DescriptionVended is a First Person single player horror experience.
set inside what seems to be a school.. empty, strangely furnished and with an illogical layout. You, the protagonist have to endure 7 and a half *game time* hours of your shift. You've been explicitly asked to lock any open doors as the new security system is faulty, and blows a fuse when too many doors unlock.
this system is going to be fixed of course but for now, you're here to keep the place safe.
Armed with a flashlight, keys, spare bulbs, batteries and fuses you have to do what you can to avoid danger, whilst the danger is actively seeking you out.
during your shift you will have to maintain the building in order to give yourself the best chances possible. Along the way you can find hints on how to find what you need to escape as well as clues about what went wrong here, and why you are being unrelentingly hunted by a big clattering box of snacks.
after your shift is up, make your way to the exit, unlock the door and run to your mummy, you have survived.

There are 3 difficulty levels, each unlocked by successfully beating the prior level.
so good luck, it wont be easy! and if it is then it'll certainly be normal or hard afterwards...featuresJumpscares

Welcome To Vended! I made this game as a challenge to myself. "Could I make a vending machine scary?". sounds weird but this thought didn't come out of nowhere. The idea came to me after hearing a strange statistic: "Vending machines take more human lives per year than sharks do."
now that seems ridiculous at first, sharks are apex predators, fast and powerful, with jagged rows of BRUTAL teeth. and a vending machine... just sits there and offers food to passers by.... or does it???? Yes it does. but I thought maybe I could create a game where this high body count is clearly justified.
And I was right! I made a game where a vending machine is undoubtedly more LETHAL than a great white shark.

or of course, play the game! Thanks for reading, and have a nice day :)
