Soul Warden
Soul Warden is a deep, turn-based, dungeon-crawling RPG that combines classic roguelike gameplay with a pinch of collect-a-thon progression, plenty of humor and a necro-cute aesthetic.
Fresh out of Warding Academy, you play the role of an inexperienced Soul Warden whose first day on the job is abruptly spoiled by hundreds of miscreant souls mysteriously breaking free from their slumber.
Soul Wardens always carry Lanterns. These powerful artifacts absorb the very souls and abilities of all enemies defeated in combat, including bosses. Different Souls grant Wardens different powers, meaning that every enemy defeated represents a brand new class to play in your collection.
Combat is turn-based, but Player and NPC actions are solved simultaneously. In true traditional roguelike fashion, time advances as you perform these actions.
Soul Warden's deep progression loop is constantly driven by the outstanding amount of class diversity and builds that originate from the combination of a Diablo-esque looting system, the unique ability to collect a fresh set of powers every time a new enemy is defeated, and the utility of an otherworldly crafting system.

• Dungeons are divided into well-defined sectors where combat takes place

• When a player enters a combat sector, turn-based time-shifting begins for that player and that sector of enemies only
• Players can wait for backup or face the challenges alone
• Others can join the fight at any time by approaching the active sector and will only be time-shift constricted once they enter it
• The world does not play out all turns when you do, only your active combat sectors do
• Allows for both joint and separate dungeon exploration
