Awakening Khenpo Truthub's Memory (Storyline) In the Himalayan kingdom ruled by King Lang Tangma, a monk named Khenpo Truthub received a prophecy that a dark age was coming. Monasteries would be destroyed, scriptures banned, and spiritual practices suppressed. The kingdom would be punished by heaven, with people suffering from unknown diseases and natural disasters. Khenpo Truthub discovered the ultimate secret: the Gate of Shambhala, a portal to a parallel universe. He believed that this was the key to saving the ancient practices and restoring the lost scriptures. He wrote down the details of how to reach the gate in a Buddhist scripture booklet and hid it in the Samye Monastery at Mount Kailash.
500 years later, King Lang Tangma, a spirit of the devil, has removed all religious ideas and practices from the kingdom and seeks to turn it into a realm of demons. The players must find the hidden scriptures and complete one million cycles of turning the wheel of dharma in order to gain entry to the realm of Shambhala and recover the lost Mandalas. Only then can they restore the harmonious order of the Himalayas and neutralize the King's power, using the balance of the Mandala to defeat him.
