Solitaire uses the standard 52-card deck, without the king. The object of the game is to expose all cards and move them to the base deck. There are 4 pegs on the screen (one for each suit) with "A" written on them. The piles are stacked upward by suit from Ace to King.
In Solitaire, there are 7 desktop columns of alternating colors (red and black) built downwards (in descending order from K to A). The object of the game is to clear all rows into suitable foundation piles.
