CHUNNI CEREMONY AND ENGAGEMENT
Chunni Ceremony is a pre-wedding ritual in the Punjabi culture, also known as Chunni Chadana or Chunni Roli. It marks the engagement of the couple and is typically held at the bride's home. During the ceremony, the groom's family visits the bride's home and the bride's mother ties a scarf, called a Chunni, around the groom's neck to signify the couple's engagement. CHOODA CHADHANA & KALIDE CEREMONY
Chooda Chadhana and Kaleerein ceremony are traditional pre-wedding rituals in Punjabi culture.The Chooda Chadhana ceremony is held a few days before the wedding and involves the bride's maternal uncle and aunt visiting her and tying a set of white and red bangles, called Chooda, on her wrist. The Chooda is considered to bring good luck and is worn by the bride for a specified period of time after the wedding.
