About the GameMycosis is a unique combination of action and logic platformer. This game offers more than just traditional action elements as it significantly emphasizes solving logical puzzles. In the game, it often depends on you whether you overcome enemies using various weapons or find another way to proceed, utilizing your ingenuity, objects and interaction with the environment.

SOLUTION UTILIZING FEATURES OF THE ENVIRONMENT
GAME PLOT
The game is set within a laboratory complex where an unknown disease is spreading, transforming researchers into fungal zombies. The story is strongly inspired by my own profession as a microbiologist and refers to various elements associated with the Microbiological Institute (MBÚ in Czech), both contemporary and historical, which is reflected in the game's subtitle, "Heroes of MBÚ." Additionally, I found inspiration in many classic video games, such as Abuse, Half-Life, and the first Fallout series.
GAME ENGINE
The game was developed using my own engine programmed in Java. Although the development of the engine required a considerable amount of time (the overall process of creating the game by myself took more than eight years), its creation was a very satisfying process. The main reason for me was that the process offered me, as a creator, unlimited freedom in defining the features of game objects and imho :) gives the game a unique signature.
