This app was built as a working example, for a YouTube tutorial series. The app was built using the game engine Solar2d. Solar2d on their website provides a series of tutorials to help people learn how to code in Lua. The app you learn to build is this app. As an independent developer, keen on helping people learn how to code, I've created a walk-through series of videos, that follow the Solar2D tutorials. This app is the product of that process. I am not affiliated with Solar2d, other then being a fan of their open-source software.
