Heptic Arena

Heptic Arena is a Free to Play Online Action Multiplayer Shooter Arena where contenders are competing against each other in an Intergalactic Game Show.

Heptic Arena* is a run-and-gun shooter. The premise of the game is that players participate in a galactically-televised blood sport that masquerades as a game show. Heptic is a multiplayer, round-based competitive PVE game with invasion-style arena combat being the focus of the core gameplay loop. In a typical match, the last team standing is the winner, but there is also a final challenge and a massive grand prize awaiting the would-be victors.

Direct PvP exists in the game, however there is a penalty incurred (e.g. a powerful "Punisher" enemy comes after you and will most probably kill you) if an enemy player is killed. As the player becomes stronger and more upgraded, the stalker poses less of a relative threat over time. Indirect PvP exists in the game through mechanics that make it possible to divert certain enemies towards other teams, thus increasing the amount of enemies they need to defeat or evade in order to survive.
