About the GameGUNTOUCHABLES is a 1-4 player co-op roguelite shooter where the enemies evolve just like the players.
The world has fallen. After a terrible incident in an experimental biological research facility, the surface has been overrun by a hostile and constantly-evolving horde of mutants. A ragtag group of armed survivors are taking matters into their own hands, and leaving the safety of their shelters to do missions for the Government.
A DESPERATE ARMS RACECompleting mission objectives and collecting UpCrates will yield rewards and powerful upgrades to improve your group's chances of survival. HOWEVER... any UpCrates left behind or mission objective left uncompleted will be used by the mutants to develop new enemies or abilities.
As if this wasn't enough, the Threat Level is gradually rising the longer your group stays in a mission area.
UPGRADES AND WEAPONSNo pain, no gain! Every mission objective completed is rewarded with Cash that can be traded for a wide arsenal of powerful weapons including explosive launchers, machine guns, shotguns, and pistols. Every UpCrate you find contains Perks that may enhance basic stats like HP, speed, stamina, or ammo capacity, or work as complementary augmentation for the unique abilities of each class.
HARDCORE CO-OP FOR 1-4 PLAYERSIf you want to stay alive, you better stick together; turn a corner, and there will be mutants trying to rip you apart. You will be relying on your team to cover your ass in the field, and they’ll need to know that you won’t let them down. There is no room for lone cowboys in this cutthroat world.
The mutants will develop a random set of enemies and abilities for your group to encounter based on your performance throughout the missions.GUNTOUCHABLES - A RAGTAG GROUP OF SURVIVORSChoose your character and play your part. If shit hits the fan, Marcus the doctor is an expert with a first aid kit and carries a saw to cut through obstacles. The Scout is fast on her feet and ample with a shovel during close encounters. Mr. B is a lifesaver in a pinch as he carries extra ammo to share, and Alfred the marksman delivers extraordinary damage with unparalleled precision.
Each survivor has their own particular set of skills and unique upgrades that require different paths to unlock their potential.OPEN DEVELOPMENTWe want to invite anyone who is interested, to join our community on Discord or follow the game's development on our other channels.
Our previous games have been published by external partners, which put limits on how we could act or talk about those games - especially during development.
With GUNTOUCHABLES, we are totally free because we don't have a publisher, and we are striving to be as open and transparent as possible about our process and plans for the game during development. We strongly believe this attitude and freedom will allow us to make better decisions, and ultimately a much more engaging experience for the players.
We have so many ideas and dreams for where this game will go, but we will not be able to get all the way without your support.
