Gravity Break
You race across space, drifting through newtonian laws of motion. Gravity tugs at you but your engine roars in defiance. The planets feel close by and you have a pile of cheese to sell.
Navigate Newtonian physics using simple controls
Learn to control your momentum and make daring manoeuvres (to pick up cheese)
Master gravity by using your booster fuel at the right time
Goodbye, and thanks for all the cheeseGravity Break is a space adventure aimed at kids and young adults of all ages.
The core of the game is an easily accessible physics simulation of space travel, inspired by Newton's laws. We have bent the time scale so it won't take days to visit the moon. The game will let you play with rocket physics, make risky slingshots through gravity and learn how much fuel you need, to buy that extra ton of cheese.Playful and experimental developmentGravity Break is primarily an entertaining game, but the concept is driven by curiosity. The developers behind this are huge space enthusiasts with a deep love for astrophysics, rockets, and robust systems. Therefore, it is our ambition to explore:
How does the solar system open up when rocket travel is no longer so cumbersome?
How can the economy evolve if you tweak the competition parameters?
How long can we avoid implementing a laser in the game?
Ongoing developmentGravity Break is in its very early stages, so much can change. Right now, it's a demo with a short sequence of missions introducing the player to how to control their rocket. The plan is to develop an economic system next, but if you think we should rather add the laser or look into multiplayer, hop onto our Discord and tap us on the shoulder!
