Dear Firestone Community,
We're thrilled to celebrate Firestone's 5th anniversary this April! It feels as if our journey began just yesterday, yet it has been an eventful period for us at Holyday Studios. We're dedicated to continuously enhancing the game and making it even more enjoyable for our fantastic community.
We're also pleased to announce that Firestone is officially moving out of early access on Steam and launching globally! Looking ahead, we're excited about the ongoing development, new features, and the opportunity to welcome many more friends and community members in the coming years.
It wouldn’t be a great global launch without adding new features however! For this reason we have prepared an exciting expansion to the game by introducing “The Oracle”. A brand new mechanism accessible from the town.
To mark these significant milestones, we're delighted to unveil our Anniversary Event, available to all players of level 10 and above from the 2nd to the 30th of April.
During this special event, all qualifying players can acquire a variety of in-game currencies, gifts, 4 limited-time avatars, and – for the first time in the history of Firestone – 2 alternative skins for your favorite heroes Boris and Solaine.
Now, to the patch notes.
What’s new:
New type of equipment! When you reach level 200, a new type of heroes' equipment will unlock – the soulstones.
At the same level, a new mechanism – The Oracle – will unlock in town.
At the oracle players are able to perform unique rituals and blessings.
New amulet of insight that increases the chance to get double reward from rituals.
The fellowship mechanism has been reworked and a new aura “Fate” has been added.
Introducing Hero rarities. Now you can increase the rarity of your Heroes in the hall of heroes.
New Mercenary, shaman Zoruk, is now available at Pirate Ship.
Skins (alternate appearances) have been added for several heroes. Learn more in the hall of heroes.
We have added the Czech, Norwegian, Hungarian and Ukrainian languages option.
Changes:
You can now click on usernames in the Guild log to inspect a player.
The Talent tree has also been extended.
New trees have been added for exotic upgrades and meteorite research as well.
We refreshed the Battles and the Warmachines daily missions cover art.
Now it is possible to change the name of the fellowship.
Unlocking tier 2 and 3 of the gear now requires gear power specifically.
The cost of the abilities for many mana heroes has been reduced.
Fixes:
Dialogue characters layering bug (showing above popups).
Scroll position after hero rarity up.
Anniversary event not registering double.
Anniversary event showing wrong chests.
Translations on IOS App Tracking popup.
