Having been frustrated with the computer play from versions of Euchre that I tried, I decided to write a version with the strongest game logic I could.- Enabled "Stick the Dealer" option.
- Added a special case for overtrumping partner's bower in Advanced mode.
- Added current difficulty level to the game complete dialog.
- Fixed a hang scenario if app was suspended immediately after dealing.
- Provided better text for when all users pass and new hand gets dealt.
At the expert level, this game will provide a significant challenge. If you get too aggressive, the computer players will catch you and force a Euchre. If you play too conservative, then the computer's aggressive calling will leave you in stopper mode.
The game provides multiple levels of computer play logic to make the game as challenging as you wish.
For players still learning, this game will suggest a play and explain why that play is chosen. Hopefully, this will help players to improve their euchre strategies.
