Disasters Escape: The Island
Welcome to "Disasters Escape: The Island", an immersive single-player strategy game where your task is to preserve the lives of the residents of a town located on an exotic island.
Surviving the Dangers!During the game, random natural and man-made disasters will occur. You'll need to make quick and effective decisions to save the city and its inhabitants, such as activating evacuation systems, operating control panels, and making the best use of available resources.
Game Mechanics
At the start of the game, the player will be in a stable situation and later must cope with various catastrophes. Careful consideration of decisions is crucial as they will impact the events' effects on civilization:
Correct Decision: Residents won't suffer any damage, and you'll maintain a stable situation with higher gains.
Wrong Decision: Residents will face consequences, resulting in lower gains.
No Decision: Residents will experience severe consequences, leading to a critical state that may result in a Game Over.
The victory condition is to evacuate the entire population by constructing an airport or a harbor, which will require great effort.
Catastrophic Events
In Disasters Escape: The Island, you will encounter various types of catastrophic events, such as:
Tsunami
Tornado
Epidemic
Terrorist Attack
And many more...
Control TowerThe control tower is the central hub of your role in the game. It's where you will monitor and coordinate activities to save the town during disasters. Additionally, it is strategically positioned on the island, offering you a privileged view of the entire area.
Within the control tower, you will find two main rooms:
Observation Room: This room is equipped with advanced monitoring and display tools. You will be able to observe the entire island map, track environmental conditions, and potential imminent hazards.
Management Room: In this room, you'll have control panels, communication devices, and tools to coordinate rescue activities. You can manage population movements, activate evacuation systems, implement emergency measures through the devices, and act promptly to address critical situations. The management room will be your headquarters for managing the island during calamities.
Within the control tower, you will have a first-person perspective, allowing you to interact with objects and move around, unlike the top-down external view that provides a general overview.
CityThe city is where you will be responsible for managing resources, buildings, and infrastructure. It's your responsibility to ensure the safety of the residents and the continuity of city life despite the threats of disasters. You'll need to meet the residents' needs, construct useful buildings, improve infrastructure, and ensure the city is prepared to face imminent catastrophic events.
BunkerThe bunker represents an essential element for survival during disasters. It offers limited shelter in terms of food, water, and inhabitants. You'll have the opportunity to upgrade the bunker, increasing its capacity to accommodate more people and resources. This will provide greater protection for the population during emergencies. Properly managing the bunker will be crucial for the survival and safety of civilians.
Airport
The airport, along with the harbor, is a vital infrastructure for ensuring evacuation from the island. It also provides quick access to external resources and personnel. It will be your task to manage and upgrade the airport to ensure it is always operational and ready to perform emergency evacuations when necessary. Unlike the previous structures, this infrastructure, along with the harbor, needs to be built.
