This game is a tribute to Chandrashekar Azad, the Freedom Fighter of India and the Heroic, Exemplary, Outstanding, and Inspiring legend. Azad is respected by the entire cross sections of Indians from past 75+ years. Azad is an individual whose struggle against the British imperial power became an icon of freedom fighters in the Indian Independence Struggle. Azad is an source of inspiration and pride to the past generations and will continue to inspire generations in future. This game - Azadi - is a small tribute from our end to this great freedom fighter of India.

There are 5 missions for you to play in this game. These missions are inspired by real-life journey of Freedom Fighter Chandrashekar Azad:

Game Background

Azad was born on 23 July 1906 in Bhabhra village. Azad went to Kashi Vidyapeeth to study in 1920.

In 1921, Chandra shekar joined the Non-cooperation movement. He was then arrested by British government when he was just 15 yrs young boy.

Game Mission Part - 1
Chandra shekar is standing in court room as a 15 year old student who is arrested.

British judge: What is your name?

Chandra shekar : Azaad !

British judge: What is your father’s name?

Chandra shekar : Swatantra !

British judge: What is your home address?

Chandra shekar : Jail !

British judge gets angry and orders 23 weeks jail and 15 lashes for Chandra Shekar every day.

Mission 1 Goal - Chandrashekar is being taken to Jail. Player has to escape the Jail by attacking British soldiers.

Azad takes pistol from British soldier and fights the soldiers.

2. Game Mission Part - 2

Gandhiji suspends the Non cooperation movement in 1922 and Azad becomes disappointed.

He meets another revolutionary Ram Prasad Bismil and forms HRA (Hindustan Republican Association) to fight Britishers.
Goal of Mission 2 is to collect funds for HRA to fight Britishers. Azad enters a British bank and fights the British soldiers to win the funds for HRA

Player needs to fight British soldiers to wins lot of money for independence activities.

3. Game Mission Part - 3

Britain sets up Simon commission to report on India. Simon commission did not include any Indian leaders.

Indian leaders decide to Boycott Simon Commission. In a peaceful protest, British Police Superintendent James Scott assaults Lala Lajpat Rai with Lathi and kills him.
Azad swears to avenge on Lalaji’s cold blooded murder and decides to kill James Scott.

Goal of Mission 3:

British Police Superintendent is leaving the police station. Azad (player) is hiding on tree nearby and takes shot at British officer,

Take target on officer and manage to kill the right James Scott.

4. Game Mission Part - 4

After the arrests of Bhagat Singh and other revolutionaries, HRA planned to get the British government to release them by attacking the then Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin. On 23 December, 1929, Lord Irwin was travelling in a train in Delhi.

Game Mission:

Player (Azad) throws bombs at passing by trains. British soldiers are shooting at Player.
If train is derailed, Lord Irwin escapes and starts running away.

Mission is to Derail the train and kill Lord Irwin using Bombs.

5. Game Mission Part - 5

CID head of the police at Allahabad, JRH Nott Bower was tipped off by someone that ChandraShekar Azad was at Alfred Park and meeting his companion Sukhdev Raj.
British soldiers surround the Alfred Park and start shooting on Azad with Rifles.

Game Mission is to fight and kill as many British Soldiers as possible, by hiding behind trees in Alfred Park.

Azad does not surrender himself and tells himself that he will remain Azad forever, and shoots himself in the head.
