At the Ecuadorian Embassy

This is a click-based, text only, choose-your-own-adventure-type story. It begins as follows:

Twelve years ago, your friend Steve had been staying at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He'd had an ex-girlfriend in Germany who'd had an arrest warrant made out for him. Steve had visited his friend Carlos in the Ecuadorian embassy because he was going to be sent back to Germany to face charges. Carlos allowed him to stay as a guest. It's your job to help him remember what he did while he was there so that he can write his memoirs.
